As of June 2024, PSSI has hosted more than 30 guest lectures delivered by high-level space security experts and practitioners, part of the Institute’s ongoing commitment to public outreach and the education of young security professionals. These lectures were initially held as part of a master’s degree course at Charles University established in partnership with PSSI in February 2015, entitled “Space Security in the 21st Century”. The central objective of this lectures is to highlight the rapidly growing importance of the field of space security. The lectures are designed to explore the security dimensions of space from a policy, regulatory and technical perspectives, with an emphasis on the importance of addressing asymmetric threats to the long-term sustainability of the space domain.
