Chairman of the Prague Security Studies Institute, Roger W. Robinson Jr., was a featured speaker at the Innovative Space: Finance Forum 2025, held on January 22–23 in Coral Gables, Florida.

Mr. Robinson, a leading authority on economic security and space policy, joined the panel discussion Foreign Investment in Space: Risks & Rewards. He explored how state-controlled space companies from China and Russia are reshaping global space markets by offering highly attractive deals to developing nations—often at the cost of long-term sovereignty and security.

During his remarks, Mr. Robinson emphasized that “absent U.S. and allied government engagement, space enterprises risk losing critical markets in a head-to-head competition with Chinese and Russian state-backed companies.”
