Advance your career prospects this summer with our prestigious NATO Summer School, organized in cooperation with NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
This intensive one-week course brings together a select group of graduate students and young professionals seeking to deepen their expertise with regard to the current threat environment and available policy options.
The course includes fifteen lectures by Czech and foreign security experts, including sitting and former senior policy practitioners and scholars (both civil and military). Additionally, participants take part in a week-long international crisis simulation exercise based on actual geopolitical circumstances.

Eligibility Criteria:
Graduate students in political science, international relations, security studies and other relevant fields and young professionals in the early stages of their careers. Fluency in English language is required. If you are unsure about your eligibility, do not hesitate to contact us at meluzinova@pssi.cz.
Fee:
€425 early bird (deadline for applications April 30, 2023)
€575 (deadline for applications May 15, 2023)
The fee includes: participation in all lectures and the simulation exercise, study materials, a goodie bag, access to our alumni groups, accommodation in shared rooms* from Sunday to Saturday, three meals per day, coffee breaks, access to the hotel’s wellness center (pool, sauna, fitness gym), table tennis, and transportation from Prague to the venue and back.
*Single rooms can be arranged at extra cost. However, capacity is limited and these cannot be guaranteed. If you wish to stay in a single room, please indicate so in the application form.
