20 Mar 2025, 13:00 CET – 25 Mar 2025, 17:00 CET

The Prague Security Studies Institute (PSSI), the Association for International Affairs (AMO), and Lobbio, with support from the British Embassy in Prague, organized a closed roundtable entitled “Increasing the Effectiveness of Anti-Russian Sanctions.”

The event was attended by 35 representatives from public, private, and nonprofit organizations involved in the implementation of sanctions. These included experts from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Financial Analytical Office, the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA), and Razom We Stand, who provided insights into the current state of sanctions implementation in the Czech Republic and emphasized the need to increase pressure to limit Russian revenue from energy exports.

Experts from banks, industry associations, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the National Center Against Organized Crime, the Czech National Bank, think tanks, and embassies discussed options for improving sanctions implementation and enforcement at the national, European, and G7 levels.

PSSI would like to thank Ambassador Matt Field for hosting the event.
