On June 15-17, 2025, the Prague Security Studies Institute (PSSI) will convene in Prague its 8th Prague Space Security Conference titled Space Security Economy and Capabilities: From Policies to Action.
Prague Space Security Conference series, launched in 2011, has become a leading high-level trilateral (i.e. Europe, U.S., and Japan) space security gathering. Seven such international conferences have been convened to date, involving leading space policy-makers, senior military and civil government officials, industry leaders, and distinguished NGO and academia representatives, from Europe, the U.S., and Japan. Previous PSSI Space Security Conferences were held in Prague (in 2011, 2016, 2019, 2022 and 2024), Tokyo (in 2013), and Washington, DC (in 2017). The key partnering organizations have included the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), the Japanese Prime Minister’s Office of National Space Policy, the European Space Agency (ESA), the European Space Policy Institute (ESPI), Japan’s Cabinet Satellite Intelligence Center (CSICE), and the Secure World Foundation (SWF).
