V roce 2022 uplyne 20 let od zahájení vysílání českých expertů do civilních misí mezinárodních vládních organizací. K tomuto výročí se na Ministerstvu zahraničních věcí dne 1. 11. 2022 uskutečnila půldenní konference. Mezi řečníky byli civilní experti působící v misích EU na Ukrajině, v Iráku a Somálsku.

Cílem konference bylo veřejně ocenit dlouholetou práci českých civilních expertů, zrekapitulovat zapojení ČR do civilních misí v rámci Společné bezpečnostní a obranné politiky EU a hlavně sdílet informace a zkušenosti, které by mohly přispět k většímu zapojení českých expertů z nejrůznějších oborů. Zájemci o práci v civilních misích EU se na konferenci seznámili s tím, jak a kde jsou zveřejňovány nové příležitosti, s praktickými aspekty výběrového řízení i s průběhem příprav a misí samotných.
Program se skládal ze dvou tematických panelových diskuzí. Po skončení následovala číše vína a možnost setkání zájemců s experty.

- Jaké kariérní příležitosti nabízí práce v civilních misích?
- Jaké profese naleznou v misích uplatnění a jak vypadá náborový proces?

In 2022, 20 years will pass since the first Czech experts joined civilian missions of international government organizations. To mark this anniversary, a half-day conference was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on November 1, 2022. Speakers included civilian experts working in EU missions in Ukraine, Iraq and Somalia.

The aim of the conference was to publicly appreciate the long-term work of Czech civilian experts, to recap the Czech Republic's involvement in civilian missions within the framework of the EU's Common Security and Defense Policy, and above all to share information and experience that could contribute to greater involvement of Czech experts from various fields. Those interested in working in civilian EU missions got to know how and where new opportunities are announced at the conference, the practical aspects of the selection procedure, and the progress of the preparations and the missions themselves.
The program consisted of two thematic panel discussions. After the end, there was a glass of wine and the possibility of meeting interested parties with experts.
