PSSI to hold a public lecture on space security (May 18, 2018)

10.05.2018

PSSI and Charles University’s Institute of Political Studies, in collaboration with the American Center, will hold a public lecture on space security.

Chief Strategy Officer of the European Space Agency (ESA) Kai-Uwe Schrogl will deliver a lecture about the European Space Agency’s perspective on Europe’s space security.

The lecture will provide an overview of ESA’s role in the security dimensions of Europe’s space activities. It will introduce challenges related to defining requirements for space and security from the European perspective, as well as for implementing space security strategies that require close coordination between Europe’s major space stakeholders – ESA, the European Union (EU) and their respective Member States.

More information about the lecture is available here.

The lecture will take place from 18:00 at The American Center, Trziste 13, Prague 1. Please register at registrace@pssi.cz by May 17, 2018.
